At time, I had thought and thought about quiting smoking. No matter how much I thought about quitting, I had not made it through one day in over ten years without a cigarette. (Now, through understanding how Law of Attraction works, I can see that by "pushing against" a habit, I was reinforcing it.) Jo told us that if we started to ACT LIKE what we wanted to be or do, then our thoughts and feelings would follow. In flash of a moment, I understood that I could quit smoking by acting like a non-smoker. Of course next question was, "How does a non-smoker act?" Quickly followed by, "What does a non-smoker do with their hands?" The answer came ever so gently: "They fold their hands." I figured that folding my hands when I wanted a cigarette was symbolic as well as appropriate! And it worked. I haven't had or wanted a cigarette since Sept. 13th, 1976. Instead of trying to change way you think about your job, begin to get a picture of yourself acting like you enjoy THIS job. What would you say or do differently? Try ACTING in a new way then notice how much better you feel.

Action step #2: Get yourself BIG reasons. You have to create reasons that are an 11 on a scale of 10. When you look at those reasons, they are an 11. They really turn your crank and light you up. The reasons are so inspiring they keep you inspired every day. So ask yourself why? Why do you want this? Action step #3 – Focus on what you want. Visualize this, pray for this, ask for this, meditate on this, or whatever it is you do. Put feeling into it, write reasons down, put it somewhere you will see it every day. Look at it every day. Get inspired by it. They key to getting what you want is focusing on what you want. Putting feeling and emotion into your focus can help tremendously. Emotions and feelings are a driving force or an energy to help create manifestation you want. Focus on what you want. The greatest thing you can do is to create these reasons for anything in life you want that you are not now getting. If reasons are big enough, they will be bigger than anything that might have stopped you in past. A big enough reason makes “how to” easy. What is your "why"?
