A JOB AND A JOB PROMOTIONWritten by Irvin L. Rozier
Continued from page 1 objected at first but some of those later volunteered to read scripture for day. After I'd been teaching for several weeks, Lord spoke to me and said, "I want you to go to Bahamas." I replied, "I don't have money to go." The Lord replied, "I'll make way to go, just be prepared to go." About two months later, Lord spoke to me and said, "Irvin, I want you to be head administrator of this school. Your time in this position will be short, so don't even put your name over door." A couple of weeks later, head administrator resigned so I assumed I'd be promoted to job like Lord spoke. Lo and behold, another person from corporate headquarters came to take position. I immediately prayed and asked Lord about this..The Lord spoke to me and said "Have faith." Three days later, other person was gone, and I was promoted to head administrator. As part of promotion, I received a free cruise to Bahamas where Lord used me in a special way - but that is another story! I held this job for a few months and then Lord moved me on to another mission. Daniel 2.21 "And he changeth times and seasons; he removeth Kings, and setteth up Kings; he giveth wisdom unto wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding." Footnote....Several of my students were saved at this school, and many asked me for prayer. Irvin L. Rozier, Captain (Retired) US Army, still serving as a soldier in God's Army

| | QUEENIE AND THE PETUNIASWritten by Irvin L. Rozier
Continued from page 1
Queenie appeared right after Mama died, and I believe that was one of many ways God comforted us in our time of grief. When Shirley, my sister, and Joe saw date on cross, Joe said "Today, May 20 would have been my Daddy's birthday. He died in 1970." Shirley said, "Today, May 20, in 1986, was day Granny Winn (Mama's mama) died." Queenie's grave site will soon have beautiful flowers growing on it. I'm asking God to let them grow in memory of what Queenie meant to us. About same time Queenie showed up, I noticed some flowers blooming around my electricity pole. I took a closer look as I had not planted any flowers there, and it was unusual to see greenery in late January. In early February, they bloomed again. They were petunias, one of Mama's favorite flowers. Despite cold and frost, they continued to bloom. Now, over two years after Mama died, I have them growing everywhere. Mama planted many seeds in her lifetime. I believe that this was God's way of expressing His comfort to us over loss of Mama. It also showed and reflected beauty of her life. James 1.17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." Irvin L.
