Besides, do we really think he has power to now ensure weapons stay out of hands of few he has already supposedly disarmed? And, if he is able to disarm few, why has he not taken steps to disarm them all? Why is he dragging his feet? The truth is, Abbas cannot, and will not, go against an ideology far more vast than his own local jurisdiction. Abbas has not fulfilled even one demand, yet he insisted, oddly with backing of Bush Administration, that Israel follow through on releasing 900 Palestinian prisoners, most of whom were incarcerated because of terrorist activity against Israel. Then Abbas offered positions within Palestinian security forces to most of those released. Oh, and these have been provided with small arms by Israel, to "strengthen" Palestinians! Have western nations recognized fallacy and danger? Frightening!! These are avowed murderers, or would-be shahids, many of whom already have blood on their hands, or were intercepted on a mission to blow-up Israelis along with themselves, or were harbouring weapons for same purpose. How ‘comforting' to know they are now security personnel! Hamas has indicated, only two days ago, they will not disarm, but as soon as Disengagement from Gaza by Israelis takes place, will step-up their attacks in order to secure Jerusalem and West Bank for Palestinians. Abbas also has upped demand of more land, by insisting another community close to Ashkelon, which was not scheduled for withdrawal, be placed under Palestinian jurisdiction. Where, and when will it stop? The "hand-writing is on wall." Those in anti-disengagement camp are not simply trying to put a halt to withdrawal by standing up for a few thousand Israelis who will be uprooted from their homes and lives. They recognize fact that situation is much more complex than that! The voices being raised against Israeli disengagement are, like Daniel, interpreting "handwriting!" But, is anyone willing to recognize warnings? If we do not heed, like Babylonian Empire, whose corrupt, hedonistic King failed to take interpretation seriously, Western world will fall into hands of enemy, even while we carry on with our own indulgent "party." Retreat in wake of terrorism is not wise! President Bush stated so, and now Prime Minister Tony Blair, and all those attending G-8 Summit stand in agreement. So, why is Israel being coerced into retreat from Gaza, which according to invitation of Abbas, is to become a headquarters for terrorist organizations once withdrawal is complete? If we desire to win war against terror, we had better be consistent! Abbas is meeting with leaders of several terrorist organizations this week in Syria, to discuss strategy. His role is to hoodwink West into believing he is desiring peace. He is for peace, for sure, but under his well-defined ideologic definition, not our's! The Palestinian State is only one step in strategy, and his role is to make sure it comes into being, while weakening Israel and deceiving West. It is high time we woke-up and smelled coffee! It was difficult to deal with Ms. Leech...since she was quite antagonistic, contending that Israel wanted to deport me because "you wanted to blow up mosque." When I protested that simply was NOT TRUE, she angrily ordered her assistant, "Go see what he's charged with." He came back and said, "Visa violation." So she KNEW real reason I was in jail was for being a member of Temple Mount Faithful, but later went along with their LIE about my visa... Mr. Abington, Jr. falsely accused me of being proud about my imprisonment. I'm not proud of it nor ashamed, but I do believe in making most out of a bad situation...Why shouldn't I use my horrible experience to underscore and further JUST CAUSE of Temple Mount Faithful? How could anyone fail to understand this?...After all, it's TEMPLE Mount, not mosque mount! Is it too much for an INNOCENT AMERICAN to expect his government to stand up for him? All I've requested from beginning is for Consul General to STRONGLY PROTEST my unjust imprisonment and deportation. They know what I say is truth, but because of their hostile views, they're playing deaf, dumb and blind to fact that I was a POLITICO-RELIGIOUS PRISONER. Frankly, they're upset that I refused to go like a lamb to slaughter, but roared like a lion instead - exposing Peres' corruption and their complicity. I will continue to seek justice until it is found...."
