10 Compelling Visions to Want for Yourself or OthersWritten by Louise Morganti Kaelin
We all know what it's like to want for things, both tangible and intangible. It is often first step in moving from where we are to where we want to be. Wanting 'for' someone else, however, is a powerful concept, both for you and other person. 'Wanting for' another person transcends everyday experience and touches soul of both individuals, evoking our inner wisdom and connection to Universe. If we are doing 'wanting', it lifts us up out of ourselves and comes from that cleanest, purest part of ourselves. If we are being 'wanted for', it can make us feel cared for, heard, loved. Both are potent feelings. Here are 10 extremely powerful 'want fors'. If you want them for others, remember to add their name after 'you' in each statement. Also bear in mind that they are a gift from you to them. You receive delight in pure giving, not in how it is received. The other person is at liberty to accept, decline, or ignore it. 1. What I want for you is to experience true richness of life 2. What I want for you is to savor each and every moment of your day
| | Stand Up for JesusWritten by Joyce C. Lock
"Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus" is a song that's been calling Christians for generations. The scriptures tell us to stand against evil, wherever we find it. For many, it seems we're just starting to get idea, Je. 23:22. It's wonderful to see Christians speaking out. Though, let us be reminded that our stand is also to be in our community, church, work, schools, home, and with friends ... wherever evil is. We're called to be peculiar people (in world, without being like world) and we've failed. We carry blame for America's problems. It's our heart that isn't humble, our laziness to pray, our not seeking God on every issue, our way that is wicked, and our sins that need forgiven. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land, II Ch. 7:14. Only then can we begin to walk in righteousness, stand by faith, create a clean heart, and fulfill requirements for healing our land.
