“O”, Cirque Du Soleil at Bellagio Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada is a fluid theatrical gift from goddesses.

This stirring experience resuscitated my spirit and quenched my imagination’s thirst for divine beauty. It is an aquatic tapestry of surreal romantic theatre inspired by elegance of water’s pure form. The images, performers, sounds, sets, costumes, lighting, and makeup submerged my senses into an innovative and breathtaking master piece that shown with illusory splendors.

At heart of production is a large 1.5 million-gallon pool of water center stage that emerges and disappears supplying 85 cast of characters with a set that is liquid beauty. The fluid choreography of 17 world-class synchronized swimmers provided necessary link between elements of fire, earth, air, and water, and pushed for me creative envelope of what beauty could be!

As I watched performance unfold before me I gasped in astonishment! I realized that “O” was a true visual for what I imagined divine beauty to be. There was Duo-Trapeze, performed by two aerialists who danced in air with a single trapeze. Their breath-taking maneuvers and feet-to-feet catches emulated beauty of harmony and complete trust.

The aerialist in Solo Trapeze was a gymnastically challenging routine that mesmerized me. The spectacular dismount at end as she flew threw air and dove flawlessly into water validated that beauty can be found when elements of air and water are linked together as one.

One of most hated chores for many people is dreaded movie return, and it seems that it seldom (or never) goes off without a hitch. Consider this too-frequent scenario. It’s 6:30 p.m. and you’ve just realized that movies you rented are due back to store by 8 p.m. Plenty of time under ordinary circumstances, but you still haven’t had time to watch this particular movie. With a window of an hour and half, you sit down to watch what you can. Children come and go, your spouse asks if you’ve folded laundry (because it was your turn), and phone rings four times. You ignore everyone, determined to enjoy show.

In end, you know what happens. The family is angry at being ignored, you have six voice mails from a frantic coworker and you still have to decide whether to miss end of movie or pay ridiculously expensive late charge to return it late. And movie wasn’t even that good.
