$1,458,92 in 18 days with AdSense?Written by Codrut Turcanu
I had privilege to interview a regular guy (not a well-known 'Guru') who claims making more than $200 a day with Google AdSense Program. Here's an excerpt from interview I did for my upcoming eBook - 'AdSense Confessions' - read it and try to apply what you learn iniside, it should make a difference in your AdSense income and profits. --- Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? --- My name is John Tulus. I was born in October of 1966 in Córdoba, Argentina, South America. --- How did you get started to make money on Internet? --- I started with small projects like web sites for friends. After some time of developing web sites for others, I knew it was time to start to work on ideas for developing my own site, my own online company. I put all my ideas together, combined them with experience I had achieved developing web sites for others, and put in motion creation of my site. Once site was up and running, all I had to do was start generating traffic and wait for money to roll in. I remember first cheque I received... what a rush!! $29. That motivated me to keep on with project of life that I desired. --- Do you prefer AdSense over Affiliate Programs promotion? --- Yes, I prefer Google Adsense over any other affiliate program because it has Google guarantee. Thousands of websites are now applying Adsense to their sites. Not only do you have Google guarantee, but visitors to your web site may also see it as having Google "seal of confidence". In a certain way, having Adsense on your site shows visitors that your site has been approved by Google. Nevertheless, having Adsense on your site doesn´t mean that you can´t have other affiliate programs combined with it. You can actually have as many programs as you want, but I prefer Adsense specially because conversion rate to money is much faster with Adsense. No other affiliate program converts clicks to money as fast as Google Adsense. With Google Adsense I may need just 10 optimized clicks to earn $20. By optimized, I mean clicks on a page that has keywords that pay most in Adsense. With other affiliate programs I need at least 200 visits to an optimized site with related content and optimized traffic to earn same amount of money.
| | Imprinted Promotional Items - Their Many Marketing ApplicationsWritten by Cindy Carrera
There are many uses for promotional items. This means that they are just not used as freebies for a grand opening special. Knowing all uses for these nifty items, often called "swag," will open up many opportunities for your place of business.Advertising Specialties Look around you. You can probably count on two hands number of items in your office or home that are etched, engraved or printed with someone's name- magnets, key chains, coffee mugs, calendars, rulers and note cubes. Oh, and how could we forget pen or stress ball? These items were most likely given to you at no cost at a business you frequent, or perhaps were even sent to you. These are often given out at trade shows, seminars and other events open to public. Even businesses that have booths at county fair have these types of giveaways. And, some businesses just have them out in their reception area. Others, like schools, may hand out pens, folders and lanyards at orientations and open houses. This marketing tool not only builds recognition but also is a way to gain your repeat business. Business Gifts Many of above type of items are also used as business/corporate gifts. Items under this category sometimes also fall under higher price ranges too such as insulated travel mugs, clocks, messenger bags, polo shirts, fleece blankets, paper weights and more. These are generally sent to clients and vendors of a business to show their appreciation. They can be sent around holidays, given out at receptions or just sent around an event specific to company sending them. According to a Baylor University study, over half of companies in America take part in this practice, and 68% of them find them to be very effective in helping achieve their business objectives. Some more reasons for business gifts: thanking customers, developing business and recognizing employees. Premiums Sometimes promotional items aren't free. But, customer is not exactly paying for them either. Welcome to world of premiums! If you sign up for this, you'll get this for free! And, this gimmick works! Have you ever donated to a charitable organization (like Sierra Club) for a free newsletter subscription and t-shirt? Have you ever applied for a credit card to get an umbrella? Have you ever pledged to your local PBS station during a membership campaign for a Sesame Street plush toy? Or, have you ever switched banks to get a free beach blanket, or signed up for a health club for a free gym bag? These are just an inkling of ways companies use premiums to win your business. Premiums are basically promotional products used as an incentive to gain your business. Many times, item is not given until an obligation us fulfilled. So, if your company is seeking membership, subscriptions or even sales, attaching a premium is a smart way to attract new business!
